CAMPING PROCEDURES
Camping is FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED! We will not hold a spot or make reservations. There are about a dozen sites by the river that are well camped on. These come in varying sizes and configurations. Some sites hold several tents, some sites accomodate many hammocks. Some are small, some are large. If you are a smaller group, we ask you to be respectful of space and not camp on a site that can accomodate large groups. You may be asked to reduce the size of your layout and have other groups camping in the same camping area if you pick a large site. We offer overflow camping at the top of the hill if you cannot fit in the river camping area. If you have a small camper or want to run a generator, this is where you MUST go.
Car parking is limited- especially if there is rain. Feel free to set up camp and then park a car or two in our upper parking lot. Do not block the gravel drive to others. If it does rain, the ground gets very soft. Park on gravel spots or at the top of the hill. We do charge a tow fee of you get stuck.
Toilets with changing rooms are behind the office at the top of the hill. On the backside of the toilet, you will find a large sink and an open air cold water rinse shower.
Camping is $5 per person per night regardless of age. Check in at the office and pay for camping. There you will receive a camping wristband.
Camping has been very robust. I know many of our regulars are used to getting their favorite sites and having plenty of space to spread out, but we must all be respectful of others. Please NO loud noises after 10pm. Bag all of your trash and drop off at the office on your way out.
